Contained within a building that once housed part of the Biltmore Industries weaving setup, the North Carolina Homespun Museum pays tribute to this once-great local business and its prized wool cloth. Photographs offer a look into the physical changes that took place in the process, while other illuminating items include letters and carefully tailored suits made out of this Homespun cloth. Learn about the weaving process through a short explanatory video and see why this cloth was so beloved around the world. Also contained within the buildings of the old Biltmore Industries are the Grovewood Gallery and the Estes-Winn Memorial Automobile Museum, as well as a lovely upscale restaurant.
