The Western North Carolina Nature Center features 40 acres of animals in their native habitats as well as educational and interactive exhibits that teach visitors about plants and wildlife. It is located southeast of Asheville near the Asheville Municipal Golf Course. Indoor and outdoor exhibits are displayed at the center, which is home to animals such as butterflies, deer, foxes, rabbits, wolves, owls and vultures.
Open daily, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $7; Seniors 65+ $6; Youth 3-15 $3; Children 2 and under are free.
