The Thomas Wolfe Memorial showcases the early 20th century novelist’s Queen Anne style boyhood home, the setting of his autobiographical novel, “Look Homeward, Angel.” Directly behind the period-furnished home is a visitor center, which features exhibits depicting Wolfe’s life and guided tours around the home. It is located in downtown Asheville a mile southwest of the University of North Carolina - Asheville.
