Built in 1895, the 8,000-acre Biltmore Estate includes 75 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and the nation’s largest home, a 250-room mansion. Biltmore's vineyards are the most visited winery in the United States, approximately 1 million visitors a year. The estate also provides opportunities for horseback riding, hiking, biking, float trips, carriage rides and even lodging at the Inn on Biltmore Estate. The Biltmore Estate is located 100 miles WNW of Charlotte.
